Our organization is committed to the environment. For this reason we only work with those hotels which comply with specific business practices that favor the health of the environment and of nature. We have established important agreements with hotels in the city, at the beaches and in the mountains, as well as with rural countryside lodges, located near Biological Reserves and National Parks. With your reservation, you will be collaborating with our Ecological Traveler program.
In Costa Rica, in general, hotels are not very large. The majority of them are either quite small with from 5 to 30 rooms, or medium sized, with from 30 to 80 rooms available. It is recommended in order to ensure space in a safe, secure, quality establishment with comfortable accommodations, and principally during the high season (November 1st through April 30th and June 15th through August 31st), that you make your reservations as far in advance as possible. Although the typical high season begins in November and ends with the month of April, with the increase in tourism from Europe and the domestic mid-year vacation for all Costa Ricans, hotels also raise their rates to high season levels during the months of June, July and August due to this augmented volume of travelers.
